Cylinder Distribution initially existed as a specialty gas production and cylinder re-qualification facility, and to supply nearby retail branches with industrial and medical gas products. With the construction of a new state-of-the-art facility in 2001, the objective of Cylinder Distribution is to use economies of scale to produce high quality cylinder gases at a competitive price. Through continuous cylinder gas research and development, Cylinder Distribution strives to be on the cutting edge of cylinder gas production.

The Cylinder Distribution facility was constructed in 2001. Shortly thereafter, Cylinder Distribution achieved compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard. Cylinder Distribution produces specialty, medical, and industrial grade gases that are delivered to Linweld's retail stores.

The specialty gases produced include pure gases, gas blends, and certified mixtures. Medical grade gases include USP oxygen, NF nitrogen, USP air, USP carbon dioxide, and nitrous oxide. Recently, Cylinder Distribution increased its medical capabilities by producing medical mix and device gases. Oxygen, nitrogen, argon, helium, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, air and liquefied petroleum gases round out the list of industrial gases filled by Cylinder Distribution.

Cylinder Distribution maintains Linweld's high pressure and liquid cylinders. The operation has achieved DOT approval to re-qualify gas cylinders and performs on-site liquid cylinder repairs.
